Your science lab,
on this phone.

Do the WAEC practicals with your own hands. No lab, no equipment, no data bundle. Chemistry and physics now, biology next.

How it works

Five minutes from opening the app to a completed practical.

  1. 01

    Pick a practical

Every experiment is written to the WAEC syllabus — chemistry and physics today, biology as it lands. Tap one and you are in: no setup, no account needed to look around.

  2. 02

Read the brief, or skip it

Safety, apparatus and procedure sit collapsed at the top of every experiment. Open them the first time; walk straight past them the fifth time.

  3. 03

    Perform it yourself

Set up the apparatus and work the procedure one step at a time — in a titration, that is filling the burette and opening the tap drop by drop. Get it wrong and the app tells you what went wrong, and why that run cannot count.

  4. 04

    Record and calculate

Your own readings go into the table, and the worked calculation is built from your numbers rather than a model answer — step by step, in the order WAEC wants it written.

  5. 05

    Check against the marking scheme

Observation, inference, explanation — separated the way an examiner reads them, with the phrasing that loses marks shown next to the phrasing that earns them.

Every practical carries its own worked examples, WAEC examiner notes, common-mistake corrections and a cheat sheet for the night before the exam. The science in the simulation, the cheat sheet and the theory pages is the same science — checked against the syllabus and covered by automated tests, so the observation you write down here is the one that earns the mark in the hall.

Questions

The things people ask before they start.

Why Elementa exists

Most students sit the practical having performed it once.

Across West Africa, science laboratories are shared, under-equipped, or reserved for the weeks before an exam. A class of forty watches one titration. The reagents run out. The practical paper then asks students to describe, in detail, a procedure most of them have never carried out with their own hands.

Elementa is the practical you can repeat. Not a video, not a diagram — an experiment you perform, get wrong, and perform again, as many times as you need, on the phone already in your pocket. Get a step wrong and you see what going wrong looks like, and why that run cannot go into your result.

Something broken, or a practical you want added?

There is a person on the other end of both of these, and corrections to the science get priority over everything else.
